Janie Ledford is an omnichannel creative director currently leading content strategy and lifecycle marketing at Pearmill.
 
Based in Greensboro, NC, Janie has spent 15+ years taking creative from concept to production, on the agency side and in-house. Her work spans brand strategy, art direction, event activations, and lifecycle marketing: campaigns for Lee, Wrangler, Adidas, Dreamworks and Universal Studios; her own retail brand (carried by ban.do and Urban Outfitters); and now creative direction for Pearmill clients like Orkin, Toybox and Better.
 
She's built UGC and content systems that boost testing velocity and cut production costs, launched Lifecycle Marketing systems, and grown organic channels from scratch, picking up 2 Webby nominations and a Silver Drum along the way.

Trained as a traditional printmaker and rooted in storytelling, she pairs craft with data and mentors emerging creatives while she's at it. 

Outside of work: sketchbooks and drawing club, an ever-growing houseplant jungle, PhD in Dr. Mario, undefeated foursquare champion (vs. her son), avid reader, loves dogs and aquariums.
